How we help

Tax, cash flow and business decisions, handled together.

Choose the service you need now. We keep the rest of your financial position in view.

Service 01

Tax & compliance

Compliance is the part everyone resents paying for, which is exactly why it's so often done badly. A return prepared without anyone looking at the underlying position is a missed opportunity at best and an ATO problem at worst.

Company, trust, partnership and SMSF-adjacent individual returns

Quarterly, Monthly and Annual BAS and monthly IAS

FBT returns and employee contribution calculations

Year-end adjustments, depreciation schedules and Division 7A loan agreements

Trust distribution resolutions prepared before 30 June, not after

ASIC annual review and corporate register maintenance

Lodgment calendar and reminders, so nothing arrives as a surprise

Best fit

Businesses operating through a company or trust that want the compliance done properly and the position explained once a year in language they can use.

Fee

From $1,499 + GST per year for a single-entity company, quoted after the first call.

This page describes services generally and is not tax advice. Advice depends on your circumstances.

Service 02

Business advisory & virtual CFO

Most business owners can tell you their revenue and their bank balance. Far fewer can tell you their gross margin by job, their cash conversion cycle, or what happens to their position if their biggest client pays 30 days later. Those are the numbers that determine whether the business survives a bad quarter.

13-week rolling cash-flow forecast

Annual budget and three-way forecast (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

Monthly or quarterly management reporting pack

KPI dashboard built on your actual drivers, not generic ratios

Quarterly review meeting with written actions

Scenario modelling for hiring, equipment, price changes and downturns

Board or shareholder reporting where you have external stakeholders

Best fit

Businesses past the survival stage that are making decisions worth more than the cost of getting them wrong. Typically any business about to take on debt, staff or a new site.

Fee

Fixed fee, quoted after the first call.

Service 03

ATO audits, reviews & disputes

An ATO letter is unsettling, and the instinct is either to respond immediately or to put it in a drawer. Both are wrong. What you say in the first response shapes everything that follows, and there is usually more room to move than people assume, particularly if you come forward before the ATO finds it.

Review of the ATO's letter, the information request and the real scope of the enquiry

A response strategy before anything is sent

Position papers and technical submissions

Voluntary disclosures where there's an exposure to get in front of

Division 7A reconstruction, complying loan agreements and remediation

Substantiation packs for income, deductions, related-party loans and business structure

Payment arrangements and remission of general interest charge and penalties

Objections and, where warranted, referral to counsel for AAT or Federal Court

Best fit

Any business or owner who has received a review letter, an audit notification, a default assessment, or a director penalty notice. Also anyone who knows something isn't right and wants to fix it before the ATO asks.

Fee

Scoped per matter after an initial review. The first call is free.

General information only. Outcomes depend on the facts of each matter and the ATO's assessment.

Service 04

Structuring & transactions

Structure is cheap to get right at the start and expensive to fix later. Most of the painful tax outcomes we see began as a reasonable decision made without advice three or four years earlier.

Company, trust and partnership setup, including trust deeds and constitutions

Structure reviews and restructures, including rollover relief where available

Asset protection and succession planning

CGT small business concessions: eligibility analysis before a sale, not after

Buy-side and sell-side support: due diligence, deal structure, earn-out modelling

Division 7A planning for money moving between you and your entities

Family trust elections and distribution planning

Best fit

Anyone starting a business, adding a business partner, buying premises, bringing family into the business, or contemplating a sale in the next few years.

Fee

Fixed fee, quoted after the first call.

Service 05

Finance & lending support

Banks decline good businesses for bad paperwork. A credit team gets a forecast that doesn't balance, or a set of accounts with unexplained director loans, and the file stalls, usually without anyone telling you that's the reason.

Three-way forecast: profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow, fully integrated

Seasonality and working-capital modelling built from your actual trading history

Covenant calculations for interest cover, leverage and debt service, tested against the term sheet

Downside and stress scenarios the credit team will ask for anyway

Consolidated reporting across multiple trading entities

A lender pack: financials, forecast, assumptions and a written commentary

Direct responses to banker and broker questions, so you're not relaying technical answers

Best fit

Businesses applying for a term loan, overdraft, equipment finance or a facility increase, and businesses whose existing lender has asked for updated information.

Fee

Fixed fee, quoted after the first call.

We prepare financial information and forecasts. We do not provide credit assistance or recommend credit products.

Service 06

Bookkeeping & payroll

Everything else on this page gets more expensive when the books are wrong. Advisory work on bad data is guesswork, and a tax return built from a messy ledger costs more to prepare and delivers less.

Xero or MYOB setup, migration and chart of accounts design

Bank feeds, reconciliations and accounts payable processing

Payroll processing, Single Touch Payroll and superannuation lodgment

Award interpretation support and leave accrual review

Job or project tracking where you need margin by job

Monthly close with a reviewed trial balance, not just a reconciled bank account

Best fit

Businesses without an internal bookkeeper, or with one who needs oversight. Also any business where the annual accounts always involve a large clean-up.

Fee

Fixed fee, quoted after the first call.

Not sure which one you need?

Most clients start with one and end up with three. Tell us what's going on and we'll tell you what it involves, what it costs, and whether we're the right fit.
