Why MDX exists.
The problem
Business owners were paying real money for accounting and still couldn't get a straight answer about their own position. The compliance got done. The advice didn't. And the person who sold the engagement was rarely the person doing the work.
Our approach
MDX Consultants was built the other way around: a small practice where a Chartered Accountant handles your file personally, the fee is agreed before the work starts, and you get an answer inside a business day.

Fixed fees change behaviour
When the meter is running, clients stop calling, usually right when they should be calling. So we don't run a meter.

We automate everything that can be automated so the time you pay for goes into judgement instead of data entry. The software is the plumbing.
