Most clients start with one and end up with three. You can start with one.

01
Company, trust, partnership and individual returns. BAS, IAS, FBT and year-end. Prepared properly the first time, lodged on time, explained in plain English.
01
You tell us what's going on. We tell you whether we can help, what it involves, and roughly what it costs. If you're better off with someone else, we'll say so.
02
Before any work starts, you get a one-page scope: what we'll do, when it'll be done, and what it costs. The fee doesn't move unless the scope does.
03
We collect what we need in one go, take over from your previous accountant, and deal with anything outstanding. Most clients arrive with something unlodged. That's normal.
04
BAS each quarter, a review call each quarter, and year-end without the scramble. You'll know your position before June, not in the following March.
Your work isn't handed to a graduate with a checklist. The person who scopes the job is the person who reviews it.
No hourly billing, no surprise invoices for a phone call. If the scope changes, we tell you before we do the work, not after.
Every email gets a response within one business day, even if the answer is “we're on it, here's when.” Chasing your accountant shouldn't be part of your job.
Through MDX Labs, we implement the software and workflows behind the numbers: Xero integrations, automated reporting, approval flows. Advice and implementation from the same team.
Visit MDX Labs(opens in a new tab)Four years of shareholder loans had been drawn without complying agreements. We reconstructed the loan history, prepared a voluntary disclosure and negotiated the remediation position with the ATO.
The bank asked for a consolidated three-way forecast across four trading entities. We rebuilt the model with seasonality, covenant calculations and a downside case, then answered the credit team's questions directly.
Job-level costing had never been set up. We restructured the chart of accounts, implemented job tracking in Xero and built a monthly margin report.
No. You sign one authority, we write to your current accountant for your records, and we handle the ATO agent transfer. It usually takes a week and you don't need to have an awkward conversation.
Fixed fees, quoted after the first call. Advisory engagements are scoped individually. See our pricing page for the current ranges.
It's the most common reason people call us. The ATO treats a taxpayer who comes forward very differently from one who is found. We'll map what's outstanding, prioritise it and arrange a payment plan if you need one.
Yes. Most of our work runs through the portal and video calls, and we act for clients across Australia. If you'd rather meet in person, our office is on St Kilda Road.
Yes. Audit defence and dispute work is one of our core areas. We prepare the position paper, manage the correspondence and attend interviews with you.
Xero primarily, and MYOB where clients are already on it. If your books are somewhere else or nowhere at all, migration is part of onboarding.
Only for the owners and key people of businesses we act for. We're not set up for standalone individual returns and you'll get better value elsewhere.
Bring your last set of financials, or bring nothing. Either way you'll leave the call knowing where you stand.
